Our Mares

Our mares were bred by the reknowned Hampton Green Farms in the US, who competes many of their horses in dressage in the US & Europe to international level including Olympian Grandioso III, and Hanna Stud in NZ. Their parents were bred in Spain and Australia, respectively. Many have Champion titles, and two are by former top competitive dressage PREs (and have several successful relatives). All are heterozygous grey and hence carry both grey and bay colours.

Fabulous moving mare with a very sweet nature, and great correct PRE morphology and conformation.   A Spanish International Judge was very complementary about her movement, scoring a 9 for both her walk and trot, and an 8 for canter. Impressive natural suspension and elevation in the trot that everyone comments on.

A stunning typey colt who has inherited his great movement from both sides of his parentage.    Retained as a future PRE breeding stallion for Corban Iberians.

 

Currently in foal to Impaciente II, Qualified Grand Prix dressage PRE from Spain, Functionality Champion of Spain 2004.

Bibiana is a lovely gentle affecionate mare, taking after her sire. She has a stunning head, lovely neck, good shoulder and strong breed fidelity. With a good overstride in walk, suspension and a strong hind action in trot, she overtracks well under saddle and willingly produces powerful paces.

Both her sire and dam scored ~80 points at the 2001 Spanish Revision in Australia. Her granddam, Escamilla, is a full sister to the highest scoring mare in the 2001 Australasian Spanish Studbook Revision.


Chosen for her type and granddam relation to our foundation stallion, Escamillo, to breed good riding and dressage horses (Hortelano VII line), Galantera is an excellent PRE broodmare. With a strong topline and back, lovely neck, beautiful head, and good straight legs, she passes on her good features, breed type and conformation to her progeny.


All her progeny to date have been tall and should make 16h minimum.
